IBM Power and TechChannel are collaborating to showcase the resources of the IBM Power Skills Academy together with skills, education and training programs from across the industry. 

Coming together in a single hub, the IBM Systems Education and Training Showcase is for IBM Power/IBM i students, job seekers, up-skillers and employers worldwide. 

This hub will launch on TechChannel.com in May 2025 and benefit from active promotion all year long. It pulls together the various skills, education and training programs that exist in today’s marketplace, giving seekers a single, focused point of reference for IBM Power education. 

ABOUT THE TRAINING GUIDE

Education and Training Showcase:
Key Components

  • The IBM Power Training Guide, a digital content experience featuring interactivity and interviews with video and audio, focusing on the human element of IT skills. 
    • Technology partners can showcase their solutions and show support for the next generation of IT professionals by placing Sponsored Content. Highlight your expertise, promote your brand and engage with a targeted audience while aligning with innovation and skill-building. (See Editorial Lineup, below.)
  • The IBM Systems Education and Training Directory pulls together programs, curriculum and resources available for students of all levels. Your listing can be updated throughout the year. 
    • The Directory provides a listing opportunity for you to display your organization’s approach, contact information and curriculum/training options. Enhanced listing packages are available at a nominal fee.
  • The hub will remain in market for 12 months, launching in mid-May at COMMON/Anaheim, with renewable terms, running through May 2028. 
  • A comprehensive year-long promotional campaign will leverage the reach of the IBM and TechChannel communities. Marketing channels include website, newsletters, dedicated eDeliveries, social, programmatic/display campaigns and conference integration. Reach is extended via the industry’s regional user groups, LinkedIn groups, and the directory’s listing partners. In other words, all those participating in the IBM Power Skills Showcase will have a promotional stake and will be required to promote the initiative.

B: Pop-Up Exclusive (May–December): Prompt a call to action, introduce a product, extend an event or webinar invitation! High visibility pop-up ad (550x480) displays when a user visits the STD search page. 

Rate: $1,800 per month 
  • Pop-up ads occur once per day, per unique user
